This week I have series of tags. I used hand carved rubber stamps and layers of colored tissue paper to add pattern and color to the tags, then layered on hand made papers.

Oh my gosh, I'm so behind on my 100 tags. I only have 3 and a half months and still 50 tags to do! But I have been busy collaging this week. I've completed 4, Asian inspired tags.

Sunny Times

It's a hot and sunny day and that inspired this sunny yellow tag. I colored the hang tag with a yellow stamp pad and layered on hand made papers.

Collage Tag Challenge

I did 4 new tags, all using my little coffee filters. The filters get really nice patterns from the coffee (they smell good too!) and the transparency is nice for layering.

New Collage

I haven't done a collage in a few months but I pulled out my scraps last weekend. This was done on a 4" x 4" birch board using vintage documents, hand made paper and some rubber stamps. The black and white hand made paper is from India and the round rubber stamp is Russian.
